SS Officers Belt and Buckle. Field adapted Belt from his parade belt (note the black ‘inside of the Belt’’ )and Buckle. Complete! Hard to find these today, this was an attic find. Unfortunately the buckle suffered from Zinc Pest. But has been stopped and sealed. Makers mark is on the rear. The item was discussed some time ago on Wehrmacht Awards. You wont find another set like this that could be upgraded down the line with a better buckle! Priced to sell! Their last message was recorded word for word, ”The Regiment “Deutschland” – now completely cut off, without supplies, with losses of 70 per cent in personnel and equipment, at the end of its strength – must capitulate. Tomorrow the regiment will march into captivity with all heads held high. Found in Latvia on former positions controlled by the 19th SS Div. Includes – 1. Cigarette case lid – with amazing trench art! Showing a Latvian calling his nation with a flag of Latvia coming out of his horn! 2- Waffen SS Officers Belt Buckle! Interesting piece, likely fell off as these proved to be not the best design for combat.
