Anton Schneider, Died as a German POW in Samara in December 1945.
Picture of mass civilian grave. Likely somewhere on the Eastern Front! Horrible picture showing the reality of the human cost of war. Note a Army or SS Doctor top left in a white coat.
Mixed lot of items! SS, Heer, Feldpost etc… 62 Pictures and 4 cards. Some Feldpost. One Postcard, and small photo album. Mixed Wehrmacht, SS and some nice shots of interesting unusual third reich services. Note one of the pictures from the famous waterfall in Salzburg! Nice marching past picture, some with medals. One with summer uniform and interesting medals. One nice guard picture. Grave photo with inscription on the rear. One nice picture of a regiment standarte! One early large picture of an early Group of soldiers, also SS! Small photo album, with some SS men in the pictures drinking etc… Nice large picture of early Heer – note on the back his unit cloth tag!
Nice picture of the Nuremberg rally! Many SS men in view! Taken from the crowd. Nice to have a private picture form the famous Rally!

Lot of 73 Photos Unit is – Schwere Panzerjäger Abt 525 – Known for the Nashorn (seen in some pictures). They were in La Spezia in 1943 and went into action in Anzio 1944 against US forces.
