This is an interesting and extremely rare Russian Soldiers ID book! 

his name was – Vladislav Valans, was a member of the 140 Reserve Rifles. 

He was a Latvian National, drafted into the Russian Army in 1944. 

He was awarded the famous Guards Badge in 1944! (P.6)

On Page 11 – we can see he was issued with full combat equipment! Helmet and Spade etc.

He was also issued with a Rifle! 

Very interesting little Book worthy of further research, they normally never have a picture if you can locate them!

They are small and very detailed, and not many come up for sale.
