Wehrpass – Org TODT! NCO and Building Inspector! WW1 and WW2! Interesting Wehrpass to Fritz Jaeger. He served in WW1 and won two medals, he was injured in WW1 – shot in the upper arm. He was from Schmaalkalden in Germany. He is a trained Building Master. attended a Technical school. He was a member of the SA and won the SA Sports badge. He has the drivers licence class 1 and 2. During his service he was trained on the G98, K98, and Luger Pistol P08. He was extensively trained Flug Meldungen – Flight messages. In 1937 He was found fit for service in the Armed Forces. He was trained on Radio equipment during WW1 and went straight into service as a a Funker in the Luftwaffe. He would serve in the battle against France in 1940, and in Elsaß, and would assist the Luftwaffe in the fight against England. He would later take part in the ‘’ruckzug’ retreat from Fance and Belgium in 1944. He rose the ranks very fast, likely due to his extensive experience, from Soldier to Feldwebel in a few years, then to his next position with Organisation Todt! See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Organisation_Todt His Unit – Organisation Todt Front Reg 50 OT was responsible in France for many things, inclusion the building of the Atlantic Wall or West Wall, also building the instalments for the V1 and V2 Rockets. His Rank was quite high in the OT – and in 1944 he reached – Bau-inspector – Building Inspector. OT used forced labour – up to 1.4 Million people served as the backbone for this unit that would build Hitlers Fortresses all around Europe under the command of Albert Speer. He was released from Service in 16.4.1945 just before the Allies got a chance to reach hometown area. A very interesting role he played in various OT Units, a surely not normal Wehrpass. Wehrpass – Medic! Eastern Front Medal! Bad Kissingen! Halbig was from Hammelburg in Unterfranken Germany. Was a farm worker, attended the Volksschule. He stated his service in Landesschützen Batl in 1940, later with Infantry Regiment 645 under the 358 Infantry Division – note on his unit entry – target Krakau! He was taught how to shoot the K98, and was trained as a Medic/Krankentrager – or Wounded soldier carrier. He won the Eastern Front Medal with the 183 Infantry Division in Russia. He seems to have gotten a code 34 wounding – which stands for a Accident or Self Mutilation. He went on to serve as a medic in San.Komp 2/219 and would take part in the 1942 winter battles in positions near Gshatsk Subzoff , as a part of Heeres Gruppe Mitte, he would serve on the Russian Front till 13.8.1943. Wehrpass – Basic Entries – IR 68 – BERLIN A basic Wehrpass from a man from Berlin, he was found fit for duty then sent to Infantry Regiment 68. But for some reason he was taken out of the Army in 1939. Priced to sell, nice clean Wehrpass, great for a beginner or a filler.

Oberfeldwebel Patzer (NCO) CROATIAN UNIT! Croatian Medals, and EK2! A nice interesting first model Wehrpass, Patzer was taken out of the RAD in 1936 to join a Luftwaffe Replacement Unit. He served in the Luftwaffe till Mid 1943, he was a trained MG15 Gunner! Trained on – K98, Light MG 13, Luger P08, MG 15! Took training as – Machine Gunner! FP Nr. 35217 – Fliegerhorst-Kommandantur (E) 31/XI in in St. Trond (Belgium) He served with this unit in Germany, then in the fight against France, Armel Kanal, then Belgium (Flandern) Then again fighting in France n 1940. He then went into combat with the Luftwaffe on the fight against England! See page 32. He then served as Costal Protection on the begin Coast, and served as a Occupying force in Belgium. His next Unit would be the most Interesting, In 1944 he went into the Wehrmacht with Grenadier Regiment 891, they were sent from Belgium to Croatia with the 264. Infantry Division. In December 1944 his unit is recorded to have been wiped out. He survived and went on to a training unit for Croatian Soldiers. His last Posting is – Kroat Ausbildung Brig Fought under the 392.Infantry Division (kroatische) They would later go into action under the ‘’Gneisenau’’ and went into action on 5.4.1945 in Lower Austria. KIA – Panzer Grenadier – Schühle A clean Wehrpass and interesting Wehrpass model! Note how long he was on the front for, not for long then he was KIA. Born in 1925 in Stockenhausen Germany. He served in the RAD (5/276) and was then mustered to a front unit in late 1943. He served with – PanzerJäger Aus Bat II under the 153 Feldausbildung Div , this unit comprised of men from the RAD drafted into a frontline Unit. And was completely destroyed in KRIM. The Volksbund have no information on him and he is likely still buried in the Feld Grave and lost.

KIA – Wehrpass – 542 Volks Gren Div – KIA near Lublin Poland! Karl Jörgensen Born in 1912, he was from lägerdorf, in Schleswig. German Nationality, his occupation was a hair Dresser. Education – Volksschule. He served in various units all across the map, firstly in Poland in 1940, then later in 1940 he would go to France, in 1941 he would move over Lithuania directly towards Smolensk in Russia (9th Army 206 ID) then he would return to the Russian Front! His last unit was Grenadier Regiment 1077 under the 4th Army on the Eastern Front. He is buried in Poland in Bartossen / Bartosze (Polen). He was trained on the K98 Rifle, MG 34 and MG42. Included are a small map of the Russian front and a picture of him during his time hospital. Interesting Wehrpass, not in the best condition but never the less the entries are astounding! He from Hamburg, Served in 1943 with a Tank Hunting unit and in a Stug unit! He was trained on the K98, MG34 and MG42 and the Stuka 40 – The famous Wurframen attached to Halftracks etc… He was Promoted to Private on the 3.1945! The last unit and the most interesting Unit was – Festungs (Pantherturm) KP 1202 They fought the US Army in heavy fighting along the Ruhr Positions as part of Hitlers Fortress! They were armed with the Turret of a Panther Tank in a defensive position! (see Pictures) He was captured likely by the US Army that then handed him over to the French, his Capture Paper is included.

Soldbuch and Wehrpass! RSO Driver!! Drivers Licence, Soldbuch Wallet! Inf Assault Badge & Close Combat Days! 1st Skijäger Div! 12cm Mortar! A very interesting grouping to a Wehrmacht Driver, He was a RSO Driver towing a 120mm Mortar 42. (12cm Mortar). See: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kue34wFn5iI His unit was schwere Granatwerfer Bat. (mot) 18, and fought under the 1st Skijäger Division! See:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1st_Ski_Division_(Wehrmacht) He fought on the Orel Salient in July 1943! They fought heavily in Southern Poland in 1944, it was likely he was ambushed where he went into combat very close to the Enemy in Alexandrow. He would fight three days consecutively in Close Combat with the Enemy. He survived this close encounter and was awarded the Infantry Assault Badge and was accredited with Three Days Close Combat in his Soldbuch. (15 to win the Close Combat Clasp in Bronze). A nice compete Grouping to a rather interesting unit with interesting equipment! Russian Militia Badge – SOVIET! Pre War! 1937 Very nice badge, was a bring back as it was found in a German house clearance! Very interesting badge for the Russian Militia Groups, they served before the war and during the war. An interesting piece of insignia to a Russian Unit that gained some notoriety.
