An amazing battle damaged Normandy three tone sand camo! Note the Eagle under the three tone camo, looks to be a golden Kreigsmarine Eagle. Liner band looks to have sprung to during the impact! This came in recently from a trade in, was supposedly a water find. Relics don’t get much better than this one!

A very nice M35 Wehrmacht Double Decal! SIZE: 54 Liner These are near impossible to find today in Untouched condition! Liner was never taken out by a collector, it is clearly untouched and still dusty! Re-enforced Linerband! It is clearly combat used! Looks to be reissued and a coat of reissue paint over the apple green! Liner is not the best shape, but worn! A True combat veteran helmet, that is hard to find untouched today! For me a helmet like like this beats any mint DD! This actually seen the light of day before May 1945 and was not laying around in storage! Only if it could speak! It likely marched into Poland in 1939! [av_video src=’https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UpWfD6wvig4′ format=’16-9′ width=’16’ height=’9′ custom_class=” av_uid=’av-2l3648′]

Soldbuch – Luftwaffe NCO – JG Mölders Portrait & Capture Papers – Worked for US Army! Surname – Köhler An interesting Grouping to a Luftwaffe NCO, comes with his capture/discharge Papers, a great portrait of him and a letter stating he worked well for the US Army heavy equipment Section. He received a Führer Present – 10.1943. He seen extensive service in the Luftwaffe – Likely as a Mechanic. He even served a short time in JG Mölders, before being thrown into combat with Grenadier E. U . A Batl 116 – in the late states of 1944, likely due to the fact the LW played less a role in Combat on the frontline and the need for soldiers was more than ever. He was issued with equipment and a new uniform – Now he was in the Wehrmacht! He Had his own Pistol a model – Dreyse. Mobilised under – Codename ‘’Leuthen’’ they marched to the enemy (US Forces) on March 1945. See: http://www.lexikon-der-wehrmacht.de/Gliederungen/InfErsBat/InfErsBat116-R.htm http://taskforcebaum.de/germany/dleuthen.html His unit was attached to Grendier – Ersatz Regiment 519, and his unit was placed in Ostheim just north of Hanau in Germany. (He would later surrender to US Forces and work for them as a Engineer). Its interesting to note that he was a member of a Wehrmacht Unit that stood in front of General Patton on his reckless Mission to free soldiers from Hammelburg, one of the last greatest blunders of US Forces and was a complete failure – Task Force Baum was destroyed near Hammelburg and they were in turn interned. One of the Last small Victories of the Germans in the closing states of WW2! It would take two weeks to read the Camp at Hammelburg and thus its liberation. The US Army lost many tanks and men, and all off the 300 Soldiers sent on that mission fell into enemy hands or was killed in Action from second class german soldiers and Volkssturm Units. See: http://www.taskforcebaum.de A nice interesting grouping to an interesting NCO.
