His Unit – Organisation Todt Front Reg 50
OT was responsible in France for many things, inclusion the building of the Atlantic Wall or West Wall, also building the instalments for the V1 and V2 Rockets.
His Rank was quite high in the OT – and in 1944 he reached – Bau-inspector – Building Inspector.
OT used forced labour – up to 1.4 Million people served as the backbone for this unit that would build Hitlers Fortresses all around Europe under the command of Albert Speer.
He was released from Service in 16.4.1945 just before the Allies got a chance to reach hometown area.
A very interesting role he played in various OT Units, a surely not normal Wehrpass.
