Description
A very very nice original Portrait photo (Makers Mark Leonar)
The Man pictured has been very hard to work out!
He is wearing Double Totenkopf (Deaths head) collar tabs. This was strictly not allowed after 1940. He has won infantry medals likely in France as his tunic is a M40 model. Great details, including his ring and his SS Visor!Note he holding a pair of leather gloves. He is wearing the band for a Iron Cross Second Class and the Infantry Assault Badge. He is a NCO (Non-Commissioned Officer).
Likely this man is serving in the Concentration Camps – Since his WaffenFarbe (Unit designated colour) – Is not infantry anymore which is white, but seems to be brown from the picture.
A very very rare portrait, worthy of being published in a book about the SS Uniforms.
Condition
VGC – some signs of age but in very good condition.
