MARTIN HEINRICH – FJ Regiment KIA GERMANY! TWO ID PHOTOS!!! A very interesting Soldbuch from a long serving Luftwaffe Soldier, he rose the ranks to NCO in 1944. His first roles include a rather strange and interesting role in the Luftwaffe. He was with Seefahrschule Der Luftwaffe on Rügen Island, he was a Coxswain. They were sent out on rescue missions! He was was found to be fit for flying and fit for tropical service. Towards the end of the war he was drafted into a new unit Falschrimjäger Regiment 7. He was likely drafted into the regiment just before the unit was remade in Amersfoort in Holland. He was unfortunately Killed in Action in Germany before the Unit surrendered. He was killed in the city of Essen in 1945. See : Volksbund information. Note – Two ID Pictures on both sides of the cover! Not often seen! He received a Führer Present on 1943. Many interesting entries including a long list of Luftwaffe Equipment including all sorts of flying gear etc.

Son of the Town Major who went missing on the Russian Front. He was a Medic and was posted to Fp Nr – 05815 – Kr Transport Abt 582 before he went missing. His original unit was San Abt 13. His father attempted to find out information on him as he never reported to home in a long time… sadly the Wehrmacht Medic is still missing on the Eastern Front. Most of the items seen here are books stored in Wehrmacht Archives about the soldiers and are quite collectable as a form of German Paperwork on there soldiers. Included are – 1) Wehrmacht Gesundheits Buch (Health Book) – full of entries. 2) Verwendungskarte – again well filled out with his units. 3) Fehlkarte – filled out. 4) R.A.D Stammkarte – Record of RAD Service. He is stated as have been very good. 5) R.A.D Entlassung – Discharge paper from RAD. 6) A eye test paper from a french company that he must have had his eye test done with in France during his sevice dated 1941. 7) Letter 1 – From Wehrmelde Amt Bamberg returning his Verwendungkarte. 8) Letter 2 – Stating his new unit and under what Div. The 246 Infantry Division. 9) His fathers letter to the head office of the Army in Bamberg asking where is my son. And that his mother is getting sick with worry about him that he has not tried to contact his parents and any information on he is or what happened to him is needed. Very sad… 11) Letter from the government about his work status. 10) Volksbund Information on him – Reported missing in Russia in the Sologubowka area in 1.06.1944. He has never been found.

They also visited the Eagles Nest, note the original furniture is still in the room. In total 7 Photos, attached to a slide of the album. All have writing and names and places and dates on the back!
