MARTIN HEINRICH – FJ Regiment KIA GERMANY! TWO ID PHOTOS!!!
A very interesting Soldbuch from a long serving Luftwaffe Soldier, he rose the ranks to NCO in 1944.
His first roles include a rather strange and interesting role in the Luftwaffe.
He was with Seefahrschule Der Luftwaffe on Rügen Island, he was a Coxswain.
They were sent out on rescue missions!
He was was found to be fit for flying and fit for tropical service. Towards the end of the war he was drafted into a new unit Falschrimjäger Regiment 7.
He was likely drafted into the regiment just before the unit was remade in Amersfoort in Holland.
He was unfortunately Killed in Action in Germany before the Unit surrendered. He was killed in the city of Essen in 1945.
See : Volksbund information.
Note – Two ID Pictures on both sides of the cover! Not often seen!
He received a Führer Present on 1943.
Many interesting entries including a long list of Luftwaffe Equipment including all sorts of flying gear etc.
