A time machine of a find, this set belonged to USMC PFC Lorenz Lorenz served with the Head Quarters Company in Signals, of the 4th Marines & later in 1945 the 5th Marines with the V Amphibious Corps. They took part in the following battles: The V Amphibious Corps (VAC) was a formation of the United States Marine Corps which was composed of the 3rd, 4th and 5th Marine Divisions in World War II. The three divisions were the amphibious landing force for the United States Fifth Fleet with two goals, removal of Japanese forces from islands so U.S. Seabees could build advance bases to project US power. In doing this VAC was notably involved in the battles for Tarawa, Saipan, and Iwo Jima. V Amphibious Corps was commanded by General Holland ‘Howlin Mad’ Smith followed by General Harry Schmidt. Included is all the items pictured, his USMC Boyt 1943 named Web Ammo Belt, His USMC Hand Book, Japanese Imperial Navy Insignia, Coins, a Medal and an Opium Pipe is amoung some of the items he sent home from his service in the Pacific.

WWII German Wehrmacht Visor Cap – Named Kanonier Guth – H.L.S Potsdam Berlin – Panzer – Original
Really nice period original. It seems that it started its life as an Infantry White Waffenfarbe, but period changed to Pink for Panzer – and the solider named GUTH was training as a Gunner at the H.L.S Potsdam School near Berlin.
