Description
Mayer-Haupt was issued his Soldbuch in July of 1940.
Whilst serving as a Lieutenant he was serving with:
Luftgau-Nachrichten-Regiment 17
Till 1943
Luftnachrichten-Regiment 110
Then till the end of the war with:
Luftnachrichten-Regiment 30
The regiment was deployed in the Belgrade area. In April 1944, the 5th Company left the regiment and became the 2nd.
He was issued a Full Tropical Uniform in 1943!
His awards list is long for WW1! In WW2 he was given a Flak award for special service to the Flak units.
