Description
7 in total, a nice little collection of Berghof/ Haus Wachenfeld.
One is wrote on the back that Hitler walked past them.
Various stamps, one to be aware of is the Haus Wachenfeld Stamp. Stamped at the guard post near the house at the bottom of the road.
One of the cards is a little rarer and shows Hitler walking the little girl from the Road to the Berghof.
”The little girl, Bernile Nienau, was chosen from the crowd to visit the Führer and have a dish of strawberries, on their joint birthday, April 20, 1933. She became a favorite and visited frequently, until Martin Bormann discovered her grandmother was Jewish and tried to banish her from visiting. Hitler allowed her to continue coming. Bernile died at the age of 17 of “natural causes”, in a Munich hospital, towards the end of the war.”
