Soldbuch to Obergefreiter Josef Stanglmaier 

The Soldbuch was opened in 1942, by Infanterie Regiment 542.

Stanglmair was wounded by an enemy bullet in early 1943, and was sent by hospital train to Warsaw, Poland to a hospital. 

After his recovery he was sent to: 

Landesschützen-Bataillon 532

Landesschützen-Bataillon 501

Stanglmaier served at the homefront with the guarding units.

Had his own pistol, a Walther 08, 9mm from 1916.
