WWII German Wehrmacht Soldbuch – Uffz Stadler – Dolmetscher – Breslau 1945 – Rare!

    $325.00

Stadler was issued his Soldbuch in Sept of 1939. Interestingly he had his surname Germanised! In between page 4 & 5 is a special entry for translators: „Im Felde nicht mehr benötigte Sprachmittler sind sofort dem Ersatztruppenteil mit Angabe der Sprache sowie einer kurzen Beurteilung zu überweisen.“ Translation: “Interpreters no longer needed in the field are to be transferred immediately to the replacement unit, with specification of the language and a brief evaluation.” He seems to have had an eventful unit shift as a Translator! It seems he took many different turns in various units how long he spent with each one is unknown. Interestingly, he seems to be in Breslau in 1945! Soldbücher to translators hardly ever come up! He was awarded the KVK!

WWII German Luftwaffe Soldbuch – Obgefr Hüttich – Wach Batl Hermann Göring – Rare Unit!

    $850.00

Hüttich from Berlin-Charlottenburg, served the whole war within Regiments of the Hermann Göring, including the Wach Batl! The unit wen through various name changes which can be seen in the Soldbuch. First 1941 – Wach Batl – Regiment Hermann Göring  later in 1941 – Regiment Hermann Göring – Schützenkompanie  4.1942 – 7.1942 – Regiment Hermann Göring – Wach Batl 7.1942 – 10.1942 – Brigade Hermann Göring – Wach Batl 10.1942 – 3.1944 – Wach Batl – Regiment Hermann Göring 3.1944 – 1945 – 1. (Panzer Grenadier) Begleit Regiment Hermann Göring Also the Security stamp – Page 15 1945 – 5./ Fallschrim Panzer Grenadier Regiment Hermann Göring 2.1945 – Feld Ersatz Batl Hermann Göring Korps Ausbildungs Batl  Medals: 1942 Eastern Front Medal, 9.1944 War Merit Cross Second Class with Swords The individual began his service in 1941 with the Wachbataillon (guard battalion) of the Regiment Hermann Göring, an elite formation of the German Luftwaffe that combined air force personnel with ground combat roles. Later in 1941, he was transferred to a Schützenkompanie (rifle company) within the same regiment, indicating a shift from primarily guard duties to frontline infantry responsibilities. However, by April 1942, he returned to the Wachbataillon, serving again in a guard and security capacity until July 1942. From July to October 1942, during the unit’s expansion into the Brigade Hermann Göring, he continued in the Wachbataillon. This period reflects the ongoing growth and reorganization of the formation as it transitioned into a larger combat force. Between October 1942 and March 1944, he remained assigned to the Wachbataillon of the Hermann Göring formation (which by then had evolved back into a regimental structure and later expanded again). His extended service in this unit suggests sustained involvement in security, protection, and possibly rear-area or headquarters duties. In March 1944, he was transferred to the 1st (Panzergrenadier) Begleit Regiment Hermann Göring, a more combat-oriented unit tasked with armored infantry operations and escort roles. This marked a significant shift toward frontline mechanized warfare as the formation became part of larger armored groupings. By 1945, he is recorded as serving in the Fallschirm-Panzergrenadier Regiment Hermann Göring, part of the Fallschirm-Panzer-Division Hermann Göring.
