Nice complete lot – found in the famous Halbe Box find about 19 Years ago in the Ground! See picture for the find picture! These were all from the same company! The Soldier – Benno was KIA from a grenade splinter to his head, able in the SS research was written Unfall – Accident – and considering it was with a grenade it could have been friendly forces. A very rare SS Division – 30th Januar Division. He came from SS Regiment Schill 6/86. Comes with two more original SS Documents, his SS StammKarte is the Pinkish one. I will let the pictures do the talking! An amazing item for any collection, and not another one is for sale online from this Division! I will likely never get another like this! For Details about the fierce battle in Halbe see below – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Halbe https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/32nd_SS_Volunteer_Grenadier_Division_30_Januar His grave is marked online, and could be visited in the Halbe. Nice Wehrmacht Zeltbann – No rips or major holes. A few buttons are missing. Overall good condition!
A very interesting Wehrpass to a Hitler Youth member – 16 Years old at the time! Note his HJ Picture on the Wehrpass! He did his RAD Service – called up in 22.11.1944. He served in the RAD under the command of the Heer! In RAD 280/6 Interestingly the unit has got a book about them. http://www.amazon.de/Reichsarbeitsdienst-RAD-Abteilung-280-Erlebnisberichte/dp/3937135871
Ernst Rauscher – Nice Picture with his RAD uniform! He wont he HJ Leistungs Abz! His First Unit was – Flak Regiment 25 – Göppingen. And his second Unit was Flak Lehr Regiment Tutow. His last Unit was – 1./ Flak Rgt 411 (mot s) He would fight in central Russia until his death. He served the Sudetenland then in Poland in 1939, in France in 1940 and in Russia during the outbreak of war in 1941. His medals – He won the Sudetenland Medal Iron Cross 2nd Class in Russia Flak Kampf Abz (Flak Medal) in Russia. He was trained on – Kar 98 Rifle 2cm Flak 30 Luger Pistol P08 1m- gerät R34 Over the top of his KIA entry was a piece of small paper with ‘’Gefallen’ which has since come loose, but could be glued back on. This Wehrpass comes with a letter informing his Mother of the details surrounding his death. very sad latter from his Battery Commander Oblt Manfred Nägele He was KIA with his Battery members in Trostino, 10kms west of Raschow. Modern Footage of a 2CM Flak! [av_video src=’https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h4vd__Z1eQw’ format=’16-9′ width=’16’ height=’9′ custom_class=” av_uid=’av-2y4sbs’]
Soldbuch to OberLt Haug – In 1943 he was Promoted to Oblt. His occupation before he was called up was a teacher! Interestingly he served with Feld Ersatz Btl 246 – Under the 246 Volks Grenadier Division! They were fighting in the area of Monschau during the Ardennes Offensive! he had his own 7.65mm Pistol. His Medals are interesting – Westwall Medal Iron Cross Second class Black wounds badge KVK 2nd Class Iron Cross first Class! – in 1945! Note his picture – It seems to have been made after his injury. Note his Black wounds badge and his DRL badge! The entry stamp for the EK1 is hard to make out! But likely won it in Germany in March 1945! The unit seems to be a Recon Abt – 9 http://www.lexikon-der-wehrmacht.de/Gliederungen/AufklErsAbt/AufklErsAbt9.htm Interesting to note is the Two pieces of paper in the rear of the Soldbuch – One for Infantry Assault Badge and the other for a SturmTage! His POW Papers are included – looks like he was handed over to the US Army!
Combat worn for sure, this one seen a few battles! Nice hard to find version of the Iron Cross. its slightly Convexed which adds to its character! MM L/58 – Rudolf Souval
This time capsule of a Iron Cross is like it was as it was issued! Nice MM – 113 – for Hermann Aurich of Dresden.
“30”(Hauptmünzamt, Wien) Nice condition, looks worn but lightly. Nice Patina! Its not the Zink version!
