Feb 1943 – March 1945 – Jäger Regiment 28 (L)

The regiment was transferred to Norway in January 1943 and deployed there as an occupation force. On November 1, 1943, the regiment was integrated into the army (renaming to Jäger Regiment 28 (L)).

March – April 1945 – Jäger Regiment 55 (L)

The Luftwaffe Jäger Regiment 55 was formed in April 1945 as the third regiment of the 14th Luftwaffe Field Division. Remained in Norway

He was also awarded a War Merit Cross Second Class with swords in April 1945 with the 14 LW Feld Division.
