WWII German Wehrmacht Soldbuch – Uffz Stadler – Dolmetscher – Breslau 1945 – Rare!
$325.00Stadler was issued his Soldbuch in Sept of 1939. Interestingly he had his surname Germanised! In between page 4 & 5 is a special entry for translators: „Im Felde nicht mehr benötigte Sprachmittler sind sofort dem Ersatztruppenteil mit Angabe der Sprache sowie einer kurzen Beurteilung zu überweisen.“ Translation: “Interpreters no longer needed in the field are to be transferred immediately to the replacement unit, with specification of the language and a brief evaluation.” He seems to have had an eventful unit shift as a Translator! It seems he took many different turns in various units how long he spent with each one is unknown. Interestingly, he seems to be in Breslau in 1945! Soldbücher to translators hardly ever come up! He was awarded the KVK!

Later in 1941, he was transferred to a Schützenkompanie (rifle company) within the same regiment, indicating a shift from primarily guard duties to frontline infantry responsibilities. However, by April 1942, he returned to the Wachbataillon, serving again in a guard and security capacity until July 1942. From July to October 1942, during the unit’s expansion into the Brigade Hermann Göring, he continued in the Wachbataillon. This period reflects the ongoing growth and reorganization of the formation as it transitioned into a larger combat force. Between October 1942 and March 1944, he remained assigned to the Wachbataillon of the Hermann Göring formation (which by then had evolved back into a regimental structure and later expanded again). His extended service in this unit suggests sustained involvement in security, protection, and possibly rear-area or headquarters duties. In March 1944, he was transferred to the 1st (Panzergrenadier) Begleit Regiment Hermann Göring, a more combat-oriented unit tasked with armored infantry operations and escort roles. This marked a significant shift toward frontline mechanized warfare as the formation became part of larger armored groupings. By 1945, he is recorded as serving in the Fallschirm-Panzergrenadier Regiment Hermann Göring, part of the Fallschirm-Panzer-Division Hermann Göring.

Original WWII German Kriegsmarine Soldbuch & Erkennungsmarke- Gefr Bruno Walter – Panzerjagd Abteilung 708 – KIA 22.04.1945 Black Forest
$465.00Bruno Walter was born in October of 1926 in Baden Baden. By December of 1943 he was enlisted into the German Navy. He was Issued a P38 Pistol, which means he was highly likely a MG Gunner. In March 14.3.1945 – He was given instructions on what to do if he becomes detached from his unit. He was transferred in October 1944 to the German Army, Serving with: 3.(Fla) Panzer Jagd Abteilung 708 – 708. Volks-Grenadier-Division The 708th Division was reactivated in September 1944 as a new Volksgrenadier division, and placed under the leadership of Major Hans-Ludwig Kuhlenkampff on the 10th. The division was sent to occupy and defend Czechoslovakia from the Soviet advance. After two months, the division was sent to the western front as part of the LXIV Army Corps, with Lieutenant Colonel Johannes Marahrens taking over as commanding officer the following January. The division was destroyed the following month in the “Colmar Pocket” 3.(Fla) Panzer Jagd Abteilung 106 -106. Infanterie-Division He was killed in Action in the Black Forest in April 1945 and is buried there today in a marked grave.
