Interesting Wehrpass, not in the best condition but never the less the entries are astounding!
He from Hamburg, Served in 1943 with a Tank Hunting unit and in a Stug unit!
He was trained on the K98, MG34 and MG42 and the Stuka 40 – The famous Wurframen attached to Halftracks etc…
He was Promoted to Private on the 3.1945!
The last unit and the most interesting Unit was –
Festungs (Pantherturm) KP 1202
They fought the US Army in heavy fighting along the Ruhr Positions as part of Hitlers Fortress!
They were armed with the Turret of a Panther Tank in a defensive position! (see Pictures)
He was captured likely by the US Army that then handed him over to the French, his Capture Paper is included.
